Getting to Zero 2024 #6 – Reducing the Carbon Footprint of Foods in the 21st Century June 6th @ 7pm Donaldson Room
A significant amount of your carbon footprint is generated by the foods you consume. Charles Sizer and Vicky Diadiuk provide insight on the carbon footprint of your diet and how you can reduce greenhouse gasses while also eating a healthier diet.
Participants can take part in a tasting after the lecture that will compare similar foods, prepared with different technologies, that impact carbon footprint.
This program is hosted by CFREE, a working group of the Lincoln Green Energy Committee.
