Join Larry Chretien, Director of the Green Energy Consumers Alliance, for a review of 2024 State and Federal Incentives offered through the Inflation Reduction Act.
Presented by Lincoln CFREE, a working group of the Lincoln Green Energy Committee, on January 16 at 7:00 pm via Zoom.

Larry Chretien from Green Energy Consumers Alliance talked about the many incentives available to replace your car, heating system and electric supplier. These incentives help move the largest fossil fuel users, transportation, heat, and electricity, to electric sources. This process is called Electrification. The 10 year availability of these incentives allows people to transition during the next decade towards being all electric. Larry mentioned his recent blog post of his ongoing transition journey. https://blog.greenenergyconsumers.org/blog/phasing-out-fossil-fuels-at-home-a-step-by-step-family-journey
The Green Energy Consumers Alliance has a great web page for car shopping. I encourage you all to check it out even if you aren’t yet ready for that step. It allows you to see at a glance what cars are available, their price and efficiency, and what incentives it may qualify for, depending on your income. https://www.greenenergyconsumers.org/drivegreen/explore
Larry also mentioned the Rewiring America Calculator which allows you to plug in your information to find out what federal incentives you qualify for. This does change as new regulations come into effect. https://www.rewiringamerica.org/app/ira-calculator
